As I type this post, I think of one thing: global warming. Our planet is warming up because of pollution. If this continues, soon the polar bears and penguins will not have a habitat. This makes me feel sad.
One thing you can do to help stop pollution and global warming is to recycle. You can stop using paper plates. Bring a reusable lunch box to school or work. Bring reusable bags to the grocery store.
Love Our Earth.
Sincerely,
Maya

Hey, Maya. It certainly is troubling how we have devastated the natural habitats of our polar friends, especially considering how much we would reduce the amount of pollution that we produce if we could decrease our reliability on fossil fuels. Recycling is definitely a good first step. Chelsea and I recycle all of our paper, plastics, and aluminum products every week. I hope people respond to this blog well.
Maya,
I think our planet has a good chance as long as people like you are around. Peace!
hey maya,
glad to hear you speak your mind! i try to recycle as much as i can. i would also recommend that people donate no longer wanted items to charitable organizations.
Maya,
If anyone can increase awareness to the dangers of global warming, you can. I know your family is behind your efforts to curb global warning and increase recycling efforts; you will make a difference.
hey Maya,do you think are plag is funny.and hear it is [I promis not to pollute the Earth and my house ever again].

nice blog. thanks for doing this. maybe if enough people speak reasonably, it will rise above those who are shouting unreasonably.
dear maya if we stop using so much electricity we can help stop global warming.
Dear Maya:
what you are doing is wonderful. I will share it with my biology students. Small changes by many people bring big changes to the environment.
A big hug!!!
Grazia Walker (your mother's high school biology teacher)
Although I think Rudolphe makes a good point, I must take umbrage with his comment about $$#EEFRWWEWEW!@#$@@##$$%%%%%%%^^^^&&&&***((())&$#@@@@##$#$#$#$#$#. Ideas like these will end up being the downfall of our civilization; when otherwise reasonable people diffuse their reasoning with fear. I trust that 1000 years from now, students on Mars will include the Earth in their orreries. Maya, I'm curious to know what your thoughts on Henrik Svenmark's work are? I just read an article here: http://www.itwire.com.au/content/view/9485/1066/ that says global warming is caused by lower than normal levels of cosmic rays hitting the earth rather than human caused carbon dioxide emissions. It seems to me to discount the strong correlation between global warming trends and human-caused pollution and emissions. Keep up the good work, Maya!
